What are the best ways to add new knowledge sources to Parnas? 

Answer

You can add new assets to Parnas in two ways: (1) in the Library or (2) in the Respond categories directly. 

Adding assets in the Library

We recommend using this approach if you need to add custom sources or new reply templates (i.e. when you don't have a macro for this template in Zendesk). Later you can link this asset to different Respond categories from their pages. 

Follow these steps to add assets in the Library: 

1. Go to the Library https://app.parnas.cx/library.
2. Click on 'Add new file' button.
3. Select the file type.
4. Upload the file via the loader.
5. Click 'Add file' button. 

Adding assets in the Respond categories 

We recommend using this approach if you want to add a new reply template directly to a single category. 

Follow these steps to add assets in the Respond category: 

1. Go to any category.
2. Click on 'Add template' button.
3. In the modal window click 'Add new template' link.
4. Add template name, text, description (and any text formatting you prefer).
5. Click 'Add template' button. 

NOTE
Any assets you add there are automatically added to the Library. If you add them through the Library, you'll need to link them to the category/s after that.
